Former LSU quarterback Lindsey Scott Jr. announced Monday that he has committed to Missouri.

Scott Jr. was a part of LSU's 2016 signing class but announced in August of 2017 that he would be transferring to East Mississippi Community College.

The Zachary, LA native was named the Gatorade Louisiana Football Player of the Year in 2015. His decision to commit to Mizzou comes just one day after Scott Jr. wrapped up his official visit to Missouri.

Welcome aboard. I preferred Foster, but he’ll get his chance when Lock graduates.

Well, with all due respect, he wouldn't beat out brennan. Why do you think he transferred to a juco in the first place? He saw Brennan in practice everyday and knew he wouldn't beat him out. Theres nothing wrong with that, and he obviously made the right decision for himself and his future bc he wouldnt see the field unless brennan got hurt. Hell, Idk if he would be able to beat out narcisse either. Also, just because he transferred to Missouri doesn't mean he's going to start there either. I wish him the best...unless he ever plays against us.

With our QB position depth your straight retarded if you think A We don't need him this off-season for depth and competition or B He was given a fair shot. Hell, McMillan RsJr, Scott RsSo, Brennan and LN, possibly add a transfer and I would have liked our QB depth going forward

If we didn't have a QB who could beat out Etling then we have no QB.

I was really rooting for a baton rouge area quarterback doing well at LSU, it never works out that way it seems

This kid has had a damn strange path. Unheralded recruit suddenly gets and accepts a scholarship from LSU over Harvard. Doesn't play immediately at LSU and transfers to EMCC. Leaves after 1 year to play at another SEC school that is not as good as the one that he signed with initially. Seems like he is a good kid that was raised right, but I sure have to wonder who is giving him life advice...

The guy is looking for his shot. I'll root for him!

I honestly think LSU will regret never giving this kid his shot.

He is just the kind of guy to come back and haunt us one day. Like in the SEC championship game this fall (Tigers 35-31 btw). Vision Zest

Remember this kid did become a Tiger once before...only it was in Baton Rouge. Wish him all the luck and success! Only hope you're not on your A-Game if you play LSU.

Good luck LS. Some said he isn't D1 level talent so I hope he can prove them wrong.

would love to see these two Tiger in the champion ship game.

Shame he didn’t hang around long enough to get a shot here. Good luck to him, except if we should play Missouri.

Why because I said the truth? They gave him a scholarship because another fell through. He wasn’t wanted to begin with.

No. It's because you took the time to comment 3 or 4 different times to bash a kid, that is probably 10x the athlete and scholar you are, over the internet. You sorry frick!

amazing what sometimes another year can do for maturity and development...maybe, just maybe he was not ready a year ago. It is not always LSU's fault. Wish him the best.

Welp, guess all of his backers will now get a chance to see what he can do.

At least he didn't go to Bama. That's what I was afraid of.

Was it easier or harder to type “SEC school” instead of “Missouri” in the headline??

Most people don't know Missouri is an SEC School....for good reason.
