gee, I wonder how good a cultural fit Saban was in Tuscaloosa. Or Urban Meyer was in Utah and Florida.

He will learn to make a roux and love the culture. Consider how Jeaux Burreaux embraced and loved it.

Says the commissioner of a conference which isn't relevant and won't be around in a couple of years. What does he know, he couldn't keep UT and OU from leaving the Big 12.

It's ironic that a guy who represents the part of the country which is openly disparaged by both coasts... is so happy to do the same thing to a neighboring state lumped into the same category.

He speaks to the LSU culture and how Kelly is from a different world. Much more so than Saban. I get it. We'll see how he does. Winning takes care of a lot of issues though.

In a world where everything is offensive, how is he able to get away with saying something like that?

Fact: many years ago in Pa I was on a dynasty type Football Team. I mean lost 10 games in 100 years When it was time for Coach to move on the players the parents all wanted the assistant coach for HC I mean he was the architect who build our dominant defense. Coach C was hired from the DCoach spot WHAT HAPPENED: over the next 4 years the team lost 20 games. Moral of story A successful asst doesn’t translate to HC. Our guy was hesitant to call time outs, the fundamentals of younger group got worst. Bottom Line dee coaches doesn’t make great head coaches I hope freeman works out for ND abut it’s a big job

" but he's a high quality person and he is mature beyond his years. And so, you know, it was a little bit surprising that he jump ship (for USC), but I wasn't Surprised that he wasn't interested in the LSU position because culturally that's just not what Lincoln Riley is. And I was frankly surprised by the Brian Kelly move." Wow what Ugly shot at LSU and Louisiana with it's people from this Jerk!!
