re: Lane can win with Van Buren

Win what?

National Championship?

SEC Championship?

Bottom Tier SEC Game?

FBS opponents?

Let's just hope he doesn't have to, but with great defense you could at least get to the SEC Championship Game.

If Indiana turned it around in one year, we certainly can. Granted, we will play a much tougher schedule than Indiana did in 2024, but we have more talent to start with. Don't underestimate the result of solid coaching and football discipline can have. Also, we need a better and more effective strength program.

But W's &L's will be dependent on finding the correct QB.

Berry definitely has a fumbling problem. He had put it on the ground a number of times.

Did that game actually take place? I remember it wasn't available on TV or radio the day of the game, and no YouTube or other media exists of that game

Yes it did. I think it was Bill Arnspargers fourth game. LSU won 23-3 in the LA Coliseum, only points for USC were after a first quarter fumble by LSU

We put tons of pressure this season. Missed contain way too many times though

We only put pressure on when we blitzed. These teams do it with four guys, they play in the opponents back field against the run, and collapse the pocket in passing situations.

We weren't physical enough last year. New strength coach needs to fix it.
You don't even know who your QB is!

Don't have any proven Offensive Linemen!

No outstanding wide receivers?

He needs to prove he can last a whole season.
He needs to understand who signs his paycheck and be loyal to that person. The kids have agents now to advise them.
He ain't the current guy.... that's a positive.

Y'all forgetting Charlie Peavy. He made Bert Jones share time with Paul Lyons.

And if you don't remember this, Bert was the most talented QB to ever come to LSU.
Well, if he is on the roster now, why ain't he on the field?
"could have".....true. Just about anyone at QB "could" have beaten them.

Would the probability been higher? No, just typical LSU fan BS, it's always the QB fault when we lose. This team had lots more problems that are much bigger than QB. Like overall offensive talent ( no game breakers), no OL talent or coaching, no offense design or play calling.
Just name him head coach.....then you will quickly dislike him.
Yes, they don't have to worry about being shot while tailgating.

Denbrock cultivated an elite offense in 2023.

Well, maybe Jayden Daniels and four drafted offensive lineman had more to do for it. He was the only coach in the last four years with exceptional talent.

And I forgot to include he had two first round wife receivers, and a highly talented tight end.

Still never gave us a top tier rushing offence.
Well, they be moving on up the week!

You can buy a one day pass to Sling for $4.99 and get ESPN for Saturday. You dont have to get extorted by Disney.
