During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Belhaven coach Hal Mumme was very critical of LSU's Ed Orgeron after two of his Louisiana satellite camps involving Texas, Houston, and Cornell were canceled.

Mumme claims that Orgeron is the reason that the camps were canceled and called him "paranoid."

On Thursday during a radio interview with 99.1 The Game in Birmingham, AL, Mumme talked more about Orgeron and said that he "turned him in to the NCAA."

Here is more of Mumme talking about the canceled satellite camp situation earlier this week:

"I have turned in @Coach_EdOrgeron to the NCAA." Picture "Hal Mommy!" sticking his tongue out while getting that premature gaterade bath from Jared Lorenzan b4 99-Berlin Bluegrass Miracle!

Yeah. All those poor kids that Bellhaven would have offered in Louisiana. What's the matter Hal? You ran out of kids in Mississippi who can play at the D3 or NAIA level? Dumbass.

The only group who should be concerned, other than Mumme et al, whose 'sissy' status has been revealed, is UT. They obviously are attempting to circumvent the NCAA rule outlawing D1 "satellite camps" away from the institution-by paying off the renowned Belhaven College to do it for them. Maybe the state of Texas with a population of ~28 million (6x more populous than LA) is just not big enough for UT. Or maybe they can't handle the competition.

So why doesn't Mumme have the camp in Jackson, MS? You know, where is school is located. I'm sure if UT wants to help with a camp they can trace three hours more to Belhaven's campus in JACKSON, MS.

Mumme better keep his mouth shut. He was stidham's handler coming out of high school and brokered a deal with a big time baylor alum.

Glad to see that O is going above and beyond to keep some of these prospects in state. I'm tired of seeing some of Louisiana's top prospects ally with other SEC schools...Dylan Moses, Cam Robinson, Dak Prescott. O said he was gonna build a fence around Louisiana. I'm just glad O is a man of his word.

What NCAA rule did Coach O violate? Can you get in trouble for canceling camps? How is Coach O preventing people from recruiting kids in Louisiana? And Mumme coaches at a D3 school, it's not like LSU is a threat to recruit the players he is recruiting.

Mommy doesn't have the financial resources or competent staff to recruit with the big boys so he was counting on the LSU name brand to get him exposure to kids he would otherwise never have been given a return phone call from!

Thanks, vjp819 and Hangit. Right you are. I looked up the Bluegrass Miracle coach and it was Guy Morriss. Forgot about him. Anyway, fully support Coach O and his efforts to lock down the state! Geaux Tigers!

So in the past how did these kids get noticed before? It's called Internet and if a kid wants to get noticed he sends his tape in or goes to their camp in their own state. O has the right to do this at least until he gets his own foothold on the state and in other states. They need to go to that players HS to check them out like LSU does it. I don't blame O one bit, it's his first year here and this man should and will do what even is necessary to put LSU in what ever advantage it can. Frick this guy brah!

In Destin on the Finebaum show Coach Orgeron said LSU is looking good as far as strengthening relationships in state and mentioned LSU does the same thing and how LSU has 3 of the top 6 kids from the state of Texas and 2 of the top 5 from Mississippi.

I agree with Ed. Why would he facilitate other schools getting looks at La. players? Unless UH & Texas are reciprocating no reason to have a joint camp.

Turned him in for being paranoid? What is the NCAA penalty for that? The dude lives in Jackson. He should be more concerned for his safety.

Isn't this the same idiot who's Kentucky team dowsed him with Gatorade before the game was over? Only to see the Tigers beat their asses with the Bluegrass Miracle to Devery Henderson on the last play of the game? No wonder he's still complaining! Lol

I legit thought Belhaven was some high school team. I also had to wrack my brain to remember who Hal Mumme is. In other words, zero fricks will be given about this clown.
