Report: LSU To Target Five-Star Freshman WR In The Transfer Portal

According to multiple reports, LSU is expected to target Texas Tech freshman wide receiver Micah Hudson, who is entering the transfer portal.

Hudson, a former five-star prospect from Temple, Texas, caught eight receptions for 123 yards this season but missed the final four games because of a stress fracture.

The 6-0, 195-pound receiver is expected to be one of the most coveted wideouts on the transfer market when he officially enters the portal on Dec. 9.

Texas, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Colorado are also expected to target Hudson.

The WR room was a disappointment this year. AA was the only one who got better. Hankton missed on recruits and didn't develop anybody. Sampson, Watkins etc. Lacy regressed nobody got early separation or was a true WR1

Why not just keep the 5 star Sampson around? I don’t understand why we let a local 5 star kid walk and then drool over some transfer head case. Sampson and Womack have shown too many flashes to let them go. Thought our staff could develop these young men.
