Elite five-star cornerback Elias Ricks from Santa Ana, CA (Mater Dei) announced his commitment to LSU on Christmas Day.

Ricks is rated the No. 1 cornerback in the country for the class of 2020. He chose LSU over USC and Ohio State.

The addition of Ricks gives LSU nine verbal commits for the class of 2020, which ranks No. 2 in the country, according to 247 Sports and Rivals.

LSU needs to stay on Ricks and continue contact with his family as if he didn't commit. Can't let any other school slipping in. Like the a-holes from the east.

Embrace the good news. Yes he might flip but to have a stud from Cali is a reflection on the excellent job O and staff are doing in recruiting

Another big get for Coach Corey Raymond, the best db coach in the country. I still don't understand how in the hell he is one of the lowest paid on the staff. Give that man a fat arse raise asap.

Heard bill Busch helped alot on this one also. If Raymond doesn't get a raise after the beginning of the year then noone could blame him for leaving
