The weekend looks dry in Omaha, but "extreme heat" is heading to town. Per KETV Omaha:
quote:

"Omaha's Weather Leader has deemed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as "Severe Days" with dangerous heat and high humidity settling in for the weekend."

"The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat watch for eastern Nebraska and western Iowa from 11 a.m. Friday until 9 p.m. Sunday. Expect temperatures to climb around 100 degrees again with feels-like temperatures between 105 and 110 degrees during peak heating hours."

The Sunday game needs to be moved to the evening. frick ABC/ESPN. ABC better have staff just walking around handing out free cold water bottles.

Why have a day game then if it's "severe"?

All about tv and money, nothing else matters

Because some meaningless June game between the Mets and Phillies commands primetime tv placement

College baseball has a limited following unfortunately. Way more people watch Phillies vs Mets, which of course is what ESPN cares about.

Conway SC is pretty toasty as well. Neither team will be phased.

That 1330 game on Sunday is going to be brutal. Omaha is hot as two rats fricking in a wool sock.

Is LSU the home team in a potential Game 3 or will they flip for it? We are listed second so hopefully that means we're home!

Sunday’s game will probably be comfy for LSU fans. Not that I care how the fans are. My only concerns are the players. It’s going to be 69 where I’m at
