Both still speculating there'll be eventual punishment for Kiffin in the way of a suspension.
We really have some of the dumbest local media folks.
Also, a strange shout out to Matt Moscona. He gets tons of hate (most of it warranted) but he went on the record daily last week saying nothing would happen to LSU or Kiffin.
Was nice to see a local media person in our corner.

Isn’t it their job to report on what they are hearing?
Both of them have a lot of respect in their industry, so I don’t they are manufacturing drama for clicks

Don’t know what’s going to happen. But my best guess is that the whole situation is forgotten and never spoken of again. Federal lawsuit quietly dismissed. The SEC would be foolish to dredge this back up.

I mean 52,000 people here went on record saying nothing would happen. That's just taking the best educated guess because there was no wrongdoing. How you going to punish somebody for doing nothing wrong complying with your demands going against a court order.

Also mascona seemed like he was getting annoyed throughout all the legal stuff. He was having to say to same things over and over because of all the misinformation that was being spread lol

The longer the SEC waits, the worse they will look nationally if they try something. It's gets more petty with each passing day.
Even if the SEC tries to build some case, release evidence, it'd be monumentally stupid. The SEC would clearly look like it's on a witch hunt.

Yep
The Ross Dellenger hate is fricking comical
He has a direct line to the SEC Commish. And idiots on this board think he’s going to break that line because it’s negative about LSU?
He’s a national reporter and he’s reporting what he’s told. He’s not writing Opinionated Articles.

You can be a good reporter and report objective news while at the same time choosing to do so in a way that paints us in a bad light.

Was last week's meeting actually a special meeting or regular meeting that dropped that agenda item? I got confused with all of the drama.
How frequently do they meet? I guess Rousse will be a no show until the suit is dropped?

He graduated from Miss State. I wouldn't expect him to EVER defend LSU.

I disagree. The situation was so comical that the hate directed toward any media for pushing it was warranted. It was like watching Fox News or CNN and only getting one side of the story which is mostly fake news.

I have been reading Rabalais since he was writing for the Reveille and we were both students at LSU. Doucet (as well as Moscona) have been around for decades also. All three are LSU fans. They still have to report news.
