I’m in the Lafayette area for work and erybody here is saying space X is gonna build much more than just a launch pad. They’re building a whole arse city. It’ll be even bigger than starbase, TX. Do any of the insiders here on the OT have any info about this. Maybe get Elon and Landry on a conference call and see where I need to get a duck lease.

It's probably unlikely then, small town Cajun gossip is usually just that. Kind of like Disney, etc...

Ahh. Louisiana continuing the destruction of its marsh because of industry.

They already have HQ in L.A. and the R/D base at Starbase. Pecan Island will be an operational launch site. You don’t need as many engineers as Starbase.

A good friend of mine has property 4 miles away from the closest proposed launchpad. We will be drinking whiskey, and watching rockets launching. frick a duck. His property worth has gone up five times original price already.

Others try, but he's the best. It amazes me the amount of people he catches who have been posters for a long time

Better make sure they build it right with plenty of pilings that go deep enough

This would be awesome but I just don’t see a possibility where Louisiana politicians don’t complete;y frick this up. The ghosts of the Louisiana Legislature are already haunting the halls, asking for a payoff.

So this is near the refoooge and Nooks trout line.

I wonder if Siri is better with Cajun directions than OnStar.
