Tactacam Reveal 3.0 & Lithium battery pack

I'm aware that 3.0s are notorious for battery consumption so I purchased the lithium cartridge for a 3.0 thinking it would be far superior to AA batteries. Camera settings are conservative and sending pics twice daily. 557 pics sent in the last 8 days, battery is down to 68%, which is no better than standard AAs.
Anyone experienced the same?
Guess I now need a solar panel. Are the tactacam panels worth a shite or should I look at others?

Solar panel is a must.
I will say you have to buy the Tactacam brand batteries from their website. If you buy knockoffs off Amazon there’s a good chance it won’t sync up with the solar panel and still drain the battery.
Hell even with the Tactacam brand some won’t. Very frustrated with tacatcam right now considering I’ve got about 20 cams, 20 solar panels and 25 plus batteries now.

I was having issues with one of my solar chargers not charging a couple of weeks ago.
Called them and they said that their solar charger is only good for about 2 years of constant use. Mine are on year round.
That’s not very good in my opinion. Not sure you make your money back vs alkaline.

I had one with a lithium battery go all the way down to 1% and the solar panel has since charged it all the way back up to 40% with the camera settings set like yours.

I've bought 3 knockoff rechargable lithium battery packs from Amazon and was disappointed in all three. Sent one back for exchange. My son-in-law used a Temu solar panel one year and had technical issues and problems getting enough sunshine. After that he went to using a 12 v rechargable lithium battery. I went the rechargable lithium battery route last year and have been happy. The lithium battery last 4-6 months on a charge. Since I have 2 batteries, I've always got one charged and ready. Pretty easy to put together. It'll pay for itself in approx 6 most and is well worth not having to constantly go to the camera to change batteries.

10' cable to connect battery to camera (but you'll still need a battery pack in the camera to make the hook up).
A water resistant plastic ammo box (I already had one from Harbor Freight).
Lithium battery charger.

Lithium AA batteries last way longer than alkaline AA batteries.
Rechargeable lithium batteries are not going to be as big of a difference, unless you’re using a solar panel.
