This isn’t funny at all for me. I’m sick and tired of these bastards thwarting the will of the people. All parties and independents, all ethnicities, everyone, overwhelmingly want the Save America Act passed.

Pass the f*cking thing.

It’s not funny.

To be fair to Mitch, the KY governor would have appointed a Dem.

If the (D) put up a version of Harold Ford Jr, that would be OK. A Talarico type, not so good.

Not the way Kentucky replaces a senator. Gov doesn’t appoint. It’s a special election

Yep. This was brought up during the governors election in KY last year. The dem governor has signaled he would challenge the rules in KY although that would likely fail.

Incorrect. The Kentucky Governor is required to call a special election.

Evil prevails when good people do nothing.

There are more of us than there are of them. We are slaves if we don't have fair and accurate elections.

BINGO!

For the 50th time here!
Aside from campaigning, the KY Governor has ZERO CONTROL over the choice of a replacement Senator.

Has anyone explained why his wife went to China and met with high
level CCP officials? Anyone?

Doesn't matter. He specifically said he would do what I said.

Would have been stupid for the GOP to force a fight over this and galvanize the D vote for the next election. Mitch sticking around likely keeps that seat GOP. You don't have to like how the game is played to understand the reality of it.

I get it, but watching him on the Five for years, he can be reasoned with. Glad to know it's irrelevant and the Gov doesn't have control anyway.
