And I’m not asking for John Fetterman. People you know personally that voted for Harris/Biden and would vote for whoever the next Democrat nominee. What does a moderate Democrat stand for in 2026? And why would they be opposed to Mamdanis or the DSA?

The moderate dems I once knew either went batshit crazy over the past 15 years or have become moderate Republicans.

Trump is certainly closer to a 1990s Democrat than any current significant Dem

Potentially.

A moderate democrat is a conservative that wants to be viewed as progressive and edgy. So they pretend to be a freedom fighter while voting in policies that crumble western civilization.

Due to your lack of support, does this prove you are far left?

As someone who voted for Clinton...
Holy shite I agree with Cubs.
Either way, I've stated this before. Trump is a speck to the right of Clinton's 1996 platform, yet 90% of Democrats today want him and his voters dead.

I mean, they gotta hope some guy who looks reasonable like Beshear or Shapiro can win the next nomination.
The Muslim communist is going to win the Senate primary here.

Wasn’t Elon Musk a moderate democrat?

they will try and present james talarico as a moderate democrat. just as they tried with beto o'rourke. good luck with that.

There are no moderate Democrats. Joe Manchin was the last and he didn't run for reelection because he saw the writing on the wall and got out.

An independent that is center left. Moderates are no longer affiliated with the party, for the most part.

I don’t see any viable path for a Shapiro or Beshear to win a primary
