Entergy Electric Charges
› Customer Charge: $10.00
› Energy Charge: $245.00
› Storm Restoration Offset: -$3.82
› Fuel Adjustment: $82.82
› Federal Mandated EAC Rider: $.06
Other Charges & Credits
› Storm Restoration Charge: $35.26
Total Monthly Charge: $369.99
33% of my bill is other additional fees. How is this even affordable for every day folks? I have no idea how this is regulated but seems absurd.
A customer charge…for being a customer.
Fuel adjustment charge that never seems to go away.
Storm Restoration charges for infinity years.

I love the convenience charge for paying bills online or automatically

It ain’t just Entergy. My coop electric bill is giraffe arse high too.

Wait till you have to put up with this and Delta’s fuel adjustment this winter.

“Fuel adjustment.” Is that the fluctuations in the oil and gas market from world events? Like a war tax?

The light bill is too dang high…
But seriously, I’m fortunate that this doesn’t affect my budget but there are millions that it does.
Nickel and dime charges seem absurd. A customer charge is ridiculous.

What is a customer charge?

It's not regulated. That's why. Just wait until we start forced subsidies for the data centers. It's crazy to me that Louisiana's only Fortune 500 company is a public service provider.

The reason is, we have a PSC that serves Entergy's interests rather than those of customers, but voters keep reelecting each and everyone of them to the PSC.

I never questioned it before but yeah, what is it?

Y'all need some quasi-socialism like TVA. My power bills are fine in Tennessee.

And then they ask you to donate to some stupid fund when paying online. frick you Entergy I’m not “donating”

Public Service Commission? We probably should elect some decent folks.

I WISH we had Entergy up here. Electricity bill last month was $500 for 1600sq ft ranch with a pool that I only run the filter once or twice a week.
I have blown-in insulation between the walls, R-60 in the attic, and expanding foam between all joist spaces, etc. Super-efficient Mitsubishi ductless mini-splits.
The “green energy” taxes are killing us up here.

Mine went north of $500 for the first time ever this month. And that does not include the Delta gas bill I also have to pay. Sucks ballz!

CLECO is even more costly than Entergy if you use more than 1,000 Kwh per month. For example, 3,000 Kwh with Cleco is $459.33 while 3,000 Kwh with Entergy is $385.01 for the same Sept 2026 period. See link below to explore.

Calculate your cost per mW after all the add ons then look at that compared to the national average. Entergy in Louisiana is below nation average in total cost per mW.

Can someone start and be in charge of the monthly Entergy bill report?
We already have one for fuel prices each week ad nauseam.
