Just kidding. Honestly, getting someone to tell you the best public land for turkey hunting on a public forum is unlikely to happen. Just for numbers there are approx. 22k turkey hunters in LA and 40-50k turkeys of which maybe a quarter are legal gobblers. So 22k hunters chasing 10-15k legal birds.
My best suggestion would be go to the closest public land near you during early morning or late evening and listen for gobbling or walk the roads looking for tracks and other sign.

During the early work being performed at Venture Global in Cameron they had a falconer hired to keep the birds from nesting on the site. One of his falcons in training got up too high and caught in the wind and ended up way out in the marsh. I went with him to go track it down. Ended up finding it on Central Canal of the Sabine Refuge.

We will be fine. We are walking a lot of guys but we have several of pitchers with very good/elite stuff. (Rizi, Schmidt, Evans, Moore, Cowan, etc.) They need to get ahead in counts and they will be just fine. This happens every year. Once they get some confidence in throwing strikes early in the count and trusting their stuff and the defense behind them we will be ok.

Billed 2,104 hours. Not sure how much I actually worked though.

If you are serious about trying to kill specks. Riceland, Redbone, or Vendetta in no particular order. These calls make every sound a speck makes plus some. Just find which one fits your calling style best.
One of my favorite current Tigers. Goes 100% every play and one of the guys who plays well above his talent level. The definition of a guy who turns it up when the lights come on.
Wilkerson or maybe Whitworth? Both are into coaching. Whitworth hasn't seemed to express interest in coaching at a higher level just yet though.
White River Arkansas Trout Fishing Guides

Does anyone here have any experience trout fishing the White River in Arkansas? Particularly, any recommendations for a good guide ? My wife and I are wanting to make a two day trip in February around Mardi Gras. We are both competent fishermen but we want to go with someone familiar with the river and maximize are potential for success.

A buddy of mine tired his luck with her one time when we stopped in on the way to hunt in Arkansas. She was nice about it but she shot him down. :lol:
Not necessarily a play, but Kerry Wood's 20 strikeout game against the Astros. I was a little kid but it was that moment I realized I was an Astros fan and what that guy did to them hurt me a little bit.
Canada goose limit in La is 1 per person per day. Not really worth targeting them specifically.
