re: Letlow vote totals

I think Letlow is Landry's "placeholder" in the Senate. I think he really wants to be in Washington.
Not to disrespect the kid because he may go on and be great at ND and I hope he does. But he plays for a bottom dweller team for the worst district (District 3) in 5A. He is local to my area and is very good, but he isn't facing the best talent in the state. He is a bit undersized for today's OL standard. Not a Day 1 starter so its hard to justify Day 1 starter money.

Now let's all make sure to vote for his hand selected candidate for Senate...
Y'all have been arguing two days about recruiting at Ole Miss. That has nothing to do with the question of how long does Pete last. Ole Miss is riding the high of being a final four team in the playoffs and doing well recruiting. But if I was coaching them next year they would be going 3-9, I don't care how many 4 and 5 stars I have. Why? Because I'm not an elite SEC coach. LSU had two top 5 (and a couple more top 10) recruiting classes under Brian Kelly and it never translated to the field. So to answer the original question. I think Golding makes 3 years.

Mackenzie Shurilla documentary & story

What are the OTs thoughts on this story? I'll hang up and listen.

Netflix documentary film The Crash documents the real-life double-murder case of Mackenzie Shirilla. Watch The Crash Netflix

On July 31, 2022, Shirilla (then 17) intentionally drove her car into a brick building in Strongsville, Ohio at roughly 100mph. The crash killed her passengers—her 20-year-old boyfriend Dominic Russo and their 19-year-old friend Davion Flanagan.

During her 2023 trial, a Cuyahoga County judge ruled the crash was not an accident but a calculated and purposeful act motivated by an unraveling relationship. Shirilla was found guilty on multiple counts, including murder, and sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.

My wife and I went a few years ago in early October. Incredibly beautiful. Clear blue Lake Huron waters, and orange and red leaves on the trees. The island still had millions of flowers at all of the hotels and houses. Temperatures were 30s in the mornings warming up to 60s. Perfect weather for exploring the island.

T&A helps
Shy at first then I developed a plan that seems to help me get out of my shell. I'd talk to and flirt with girls I had zero interest in. Basically practicing, and that helped me get more confident. I slowly worked my way up to girls I was interested in.

Good Friday - Gobbled good on the limb. Gobbled a few times on the ground and cut me off yelping. Heard a hen yelp, he cut her off and never heard or saw either of them again all day. Backed out instead of staying hoping to get a good chance Saturday.

Saturday - Less gobbling. Courtesy gobbled at a few tree yelps. Flew down and gobbled and walked away. Presumably with a hen. Stayed till about 10 to see if he would work back through. Had to leave for Easter family activities.

Completely quiet since cool front
Before I pick a side on this thing, are we (human men) breeding their alien women or are their (alien men) breeding our human women?

re: Public Land Turkey Hunting

Lacassine NWR...

Just kidding. Honestly, getting someone to tell you the best public land for turkey hunting on a public forum is unlikely to happen. Just for numbers there are approx. 22k turkey hunters in LA and 40-50k turkeys of which maybe a quarter are legal gobblers. So 22k hunters chasing 10-15k legal birds.

My best suggestion would be go to the closest public land near you during early morning or late evening and listen for gobbling or walk the roads looking for tracks and other sign.

re: Anybody on here into falconry?

During the early work being performed at Venture Global in Cameron they had a falconer hired to keep the birds from nesting on the site. One of his falcons in training got up too high and caught in the wind and ended up way out in the marsh. I went with him to go track it down. Ended up finding it on Central Canal of the Sabine Refuge.
We will be fine. We are walking a lot of guys but we have several of pitchers with very good/elite stuff. (Rizi, Schmidt, Evans, Moore, Cowan, etc.) They need to get ahead in counts and they will be just fine. This happens every year. Once they get some confidence in throwing strikes early in the count and trusting their stuff and the defense behind them we will be ok.

Haulcy was one they really wanted but couldn’t afford.

Ended up with Sage Ryan instead
His girlfriend is a 6...He will have his pick of 8s, 9s, and 10s at LSU.
