They finally have us ahead of Bama. They always used to like to put Bama just 1-2 spots ahead of us even in Bama’s down years.

Boy they love them some Oregon every year.

Ha!! They’ll never learn with their Notre Dame crap every year. And we get to play about half the teams in front of us.

We are in a good spot. I find it interesting that Notre Dame and Indiana have so many 1st place votes but are further down and UGA has no 1st place votes at 3

We play three of the top ten and five of the top twenty

Ole Miss isn't close to a top 10 team. Their ranking is purely from what they did last year and early reports out of their camp is their offensive line is putrid.
Then we get the other two, Texas & A&M are at home. A&M apparently also has a terrible offensive line.
Then Tennessee on the road way towards the end of the season. Very manageable

Every year Notre Dame is given too much respect simply due to the name.

Damn Clemson just missed getting ranked. One less top 25 opponent on the resume by 1 slot

Disclaimer: I know these are preseason polls and don't really mean much
If these were the final rankings, that'd put LSU as the first team out of the playoffs. Assuming the highest ranked team in each conference are the conference champs, it would go:
Auto bids:
1. Ohio St (Big Ten)
2. Georgia (SEC)
3. Notre Dame (top 12 for them is autobid)
4. Miami (ACC)
5. Texas Tech (Big 12)
6. G6 rep
At large:
1. Oregon
2. Texas
3. Indiana
4. TAMU
5. Ole Miss
6. Oklahoma
Then LSU would be the first team out.

Texas will be in trouble when Jayden looks at this ranking.

Both Indiana and NDs schedules almost garuntees playoff spots for them.

Yep. Absolutely idiotic how lopsided schedules get for some teams. Look at Penn St also

Who are the first three teams in the Top 10 to go down?
