First eagle!

Posted by Wildman 22 on 8/13/26 at 9:29 am
Played a quick 9 at my home course yesterday. Started bogey (par 4), par(par5), bogey(par 3) then comes #4 a 380 yd par 4. Hit a solid drive dead straight and left it 77yds out. Grabbed my Cleveland zipcore 56 and hit what I thought was just a good approach shot until it hit 6" from the cup and rolled in. I have chipped in for birdie twice in the last month from the sides of the green but for me this was epic! I ended up finishing the round +4 but the eagle definitely made for one hell of a round. Now if I could finish without having 16 putts in a 9 hole round that finishes +4 maybe I could actually shoot par! :banghead:
How long do the batteries last? I do alot of tracking with my lab and I'm torn between this style or a new coon hunting style light on a bump cap
They definitely put the "lazy" in the lazy river. Looks like a pool full of cocoa puffs. I bet the parking lot is full of busted arse Altimas.

My dad was good friends with this little shite head's dad, so I was around him here and there growing up. Kid was always weird and kind of off in the head but we never imagined this was possible.

I bought a buzzard roost saddle 2 years ago and haven't even had the urge to pull a climber out of the shed since.

Just tried the code. It was a no go for me :banghead:
Look up maker bullets. They are absolutely devastating and if you call with any questions or concerns Mr Paul is more than helpful.

I don't personally know of any local cold cases to me but my grandmaws cousin was the cold case detective Rodie Sanchez on killing fields.
We have an option for a work phone or a reimbursement for a personal phone. I am having to constantly take pictures and have different apps on my phone for work and my phone performance has went to shite faster than my last marriage so I just requested a company provided phone.
My daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia when she was 2. The steroids were absolutely terrible for her. There were days after treatment where she would just want to sleep. There were other days she was absolutely wired. She's 7 now and cancer free but that baby put up every bit of the fight to get there. It's definitely not an easy road but with faith and support for your wife you can get through it. As someone said Oncology nurses are literal angels. Prayers for you and your wife on this road ahead.

Update. I ended up playing Palm Valley 3 times as the price and conditions were great and it was only 5 Minutes from my hotel. Made a run up to cave creek to play Ranch Manana. It was tight and extremely difficult, but the views were absolutely amazing. I'll have to leave TPC on the bucket list for now but there's also a few more I want to check out but that will be for another time. I'm headed to the toledo Ohio area on Sunday for 2 weeks and I've already scoped a few out in that area. Trying to add as many as I can to my logo ball collection.

Academy golf ball sale

Posted by Wildman 22 on 6/18/26 at 9:28 am
I stopped by academy on Airline yesterday for a few things and on my way past the golf section I noticed the sale signs. TP5 and TP5X 2 doz for $100. All Srixon balls are buy 2 doz get 1 free. I left with 3 dozen Q star Ultispeeds for $60. I have been playing the Titeleist tru feel and I liked them but after trying them on the lightning fast greens in Az I just could not get them to check at all. I tried a sleeve of TP5X and they had amazing greenside spin. I read up on the Q star and all the reviews said slightly softer than the TP5 and the X with just a little less spin but still moderate. For the price it was worth trying. Now if this damn rain would hold off for a day I could try them. If not they will have to wait until I get to Ohio next week to try them out.

If you only got enough for 2 fingers now we know why your wife is pissed off.

I have a young daughter and most of the South La citizens don't know how to use a public bathroom without pissing everywhere and making it nasty as frick, so yes I have asked a female employee or any female who happens to walk by if they mind checking if it's empty and also if they mind standing by for just a moment while I go in for my daughter to use the bathroom. I have never been told no.

Phoenix area golf

Headed to the phoenix area for a few weeks for work. What are some places I should try to get an evening round in while I'm there? TPC Scottsdale Champions course is definitely on the radar if I happen to have to stay one of the weekends and not fly home for the weekend. I'm staying in the west phoenix area (Goodyear). Every course I've looked at seems absolutely beautiful so I'm definitely looking forward to it.

How is it compared to the AI smoke? I'm going driver shopping Saturday and I'm wanting to try the AI smoke bad. If it's anything like the 5w I have it will be a cheat code.

Well after searching for tee times for all the open to the public courses in the area it looks like it will be top golf and drinks Saturday then heading home once we wake up Sunday. :banghead:
