My elderly dad uses speakerphone a lot, but he walks somewhere private before every phone call. Thinks it is very rude to be on the phone around others, regardless of scenario. Old school "go in the other room" guy.

He also has his phone tie into his hearing aids now which is a gamechanger and reduces the speakerphone usage. Regardless, he goes somewhere private.

I generally find the HIspanics around here courteous and pleasant, but what you're referencing is definitely my biggest gripe with the Hispanics around here.

I was at lunch a few months ago, and the four Hispanic painters at the next table all were staring at their phones blasting Mexican TikTok or whatever it is they look at the same time and only looked up to eat.

I feel like this is an issue that goes across races. I see it in all walks of life. Black lady in front of me at a gas station counter. White dude blasting Imagine Dragons on his phone on a quiet nature trail. Hispanic worker at a fast food joint. A heap load of kids in airports on tablets with cocomelon at full volume.

When I took my Dad for his urologist check up, the sheer number of older white dudes that were playing Facebook videos at full blast in the waiting room was remarkable.

From my experience, the biggest offenders are:

1. Black women
2. Older white men
3. Cyclists at the park (with the shittiest music possible on full speaker).
