The red light is one of the brightest I've found at this size. It has a lockout mode so you're not accidentally draining the battery in your pack.
I'm trying to keep anybody from spending $75-$100 on peax or something like that

yeah I keep seeing people recommend the Peax in hunting groups. They're basically the same light. Hell, Sofirn probably makes them and they're rebranded. I think the Peax does come with a better battery but you can buy one from Ilumn to put in the Sofirn and still be way ahead on 4.

The if22a is pretty awesome. Sp36 blf is really good but heavy. Their blf lt1 is awesome for camping.
Sp36 and LT1 both have Anduril software on them. It's fun to play with but can be frustrating to use when hunting if you don't know what you're doing. They do have a "muggle mode" you can turn on that makes it function like a normal flashlight, though.

hell yeah! I never could find one that I liked and ended up with one of these by accident. I'm scared of the dark so a good light is important to me. They've been pretty much bulletproof, especially considering the cost. Posted on 7/30/26 at 1:11 pm to Loup
