Found out that a friend had a kid who was aggressive while very young

As in at age seven they started him in some therapies, psychologists. As a teen he was sent away to the famous school "Boys Town". Now ten years later the kid is a college grad and himself a counsellor.
Can somone "grow out" of this kind of youth aggression or it just a matter of time that he snaps?
Is there a reason I ask? Nope. Just curious.
Parents are happy, the kid (now adult) is settled in, I am honestly curious because when watching tv shows like Law and Order it seems like "they are just patiently waiting for a time to strike" or is that BS?

Sure seen it a lot. I’d say 65% outgrew it well enough from my observations if we're talking decent life vs prison, drugged out etc. probably lower in rougher areas like big cities and such.

Somebody might have given him an arse whoopin. Amazing attitude adjustment sometimes.

I’ve got a loved one that was diagnosed with a dark triad psychological disorder very young. His family provided all of the mean necessary to out-nurture his nature but he still ended up in the prison system.

My oldest son was extremely aggressive for a couple years starting at about 5. He’s 18 now and one of the most chill and laid back persons I know. He started calming down at around 7.

You might want to check out the tv show “Signs of a Phycopath.”

My oldest son was very rough when younger he turns 9 next month and is almost a little soft for my liking but probably the best kid I know.
They grow out of it unless something is actually wrong with them which happens.
We know a couple with a on the spectrum 8 yr old likely sociopath unfortunately.

Son of a family friend had lots of problems like that...lots. He was the same age as me and this all started around 8 years old so it made no sense to me. He was always in trouble with his parents/siblings/authorities. His parents sent him off to some sort of camp for a couple years when he was around 11. Set him straight last I heard.
Not related to the above CSB, there's a ranch in TX that specializes in rehabbing young boys. They bust their arse working on the ranch with horses. Learn the value of hard work and the responsibility of taking care of the horses. The kid I know sent there turned into a completely different adult. Night and day difference.

Sometimes a kid can work through the issues that cause his behavior. I worked with troubled teens for over 30 years.

I always felt this would solve a lot of problems with boys. Schools do not understand the need for boys to burn off all the pent up energy. Since schools are run by women they really don't understand the need for exercise and physical activity. Unfortunately they deal with an over active student with drugs.
