I use it a lot. It’s just another source of information which I am always interested in being more informed.
However, I have a hard time relating to people who expect it to be perfect.
AI is made by and modeled on humans so how can you expect it to be perfect.
It is simply like someone who is at least as smart as you are, but has access and instant recall of a hell of a lot more information than you do. And like you, it makes mistakes. If something looks fishy, just check it out.
Critical thinking is sorely lacking today.
Anyone who takes the results and blindly follows them and doesn’t question anything is a fool and is probably a fool in every other area of their life as well.
That’s why when someone says something like they heard somebody asked it What 2+2 was and it said five so it’s wrong and they condemn It are the biggest idiots.
My advice to them is to stay away from it.
In it current form it’s always going to make mistakes, but as it begins recursive self improvement, the mistakes should decrease. Except for hallucinations, which should be easy to spot.

You make some solid points, but I don't use Gemini on my phone to guide me through life. I just use it as a half-assed personal assistant. Basically instead of googling something, I'll just click the Gemini app and ask it. It's pretty random.

When they can put AI in one of those lifelike sex mannequins, the birth rate will zero out.
