College athletics is at financial crossroads, and we're feeling it every day at LSU. As someone who has contributed generously to our athletic programs to keep them operational, you know how unsustainable the budget of the athletic department looks and how hard TAF has worked with our donors to assist

. Governor Jeff Landry supported the Presidency of Dr. Wade Rousse because he believes Wade is an innovator, especially as it relates to economics, financing, and revenue. The Governor and the President are inviting you to a private event at the Governor's Mansion on MONDAY, August 3rd or WEDNESDAY, August 5th beginning at 6pm to get a first look at an alternative revenue generating opportunity for LSU athletics that is first of its kind nationally and could quite possibly change the future of college sports in America.

Let me be clear, this is not an ask for money. It's not a fundraiser. It's informational. This is a conversation about the future of LSU Athletics. Please let me know as soon as possible if you're willing to attend one of these exclusive meetings at the mansion, and which date works best for you. And remember, what unites us all? It's three letters, two colors, one state. WE ARE ALL LSU. Hope to see you soon.

Dellenger sent out a tweet of it confirming.

Any guesses what this alternative revenue generating opportunity could be? I got nothing.

"Not soliciting for money, but if you could leave a little something in the offering plate on the way out so we can acquire Brewster and Easton, it would be greatly appreciated." - TAF

I'm guessing this means they will be targeting the ballers on the OT to make up the difference
The $ on that board is legitimate

skip the mansion, they should all go straight to Supper Club

They are dividing campus up into 10x10 sections, and you will have to pay a fee to tailgate.

I have a good source, it’s not. It’s reshaping TAF

I'll be in on vacation if someone can forward the cliffs to my yacht

Idea for fundraiser:

Peep Shows in the old dormitory windows in the south endzones:
Put in $5 the screen comes up some little chick does a strip dance, screen closes unless you put in more money.

I guess I could donate a couple billion or so if I’m able to make the meeting.

If Moscona is breaking this maybe he's pitching Game Coin to the investors

It’s not sustainable anymore. The money being thrown at 17 year olds used to go into LSUs coffers for various projects throughout the years.

I’m sure this is just a meeting of wealthy business owners looking at different avenues to corral this and make it work. It’s also likely happening all across the board

Same, but they didn't ask me to attend so I'll just keep my billions.

Lot of words for "we found a more creative way for you to hopefully give us more $$"

And those 40 people will have more money than the state as a whole, but best believe the poor sap is the one paying for these new ideas
