I hope you guys haven’t forgotten what Baker is capable of

Just as I predicted. We destroyed State and Auburn. And our defense, technically, is top 10 by most metrics. But do not forget. Blake Baker is 100% capable of losing this game for us just as he did many times before. This needs to be front of mind for everyone. Do not come running to the scoreboard thread when we can’t get off the field on 3rd down and their QB is scrambling all over us.

He’s a good DC. There are better ones, but he’s solid. If you want to complain he’s paid too much, fine. But many teams would kill for him.

I’ll give you credit for that prediction. Baker had all offseason and couple games into the season to prep for Chambliss and we still lost.

You will get downvoted but you are spot on, people have short term memory.
We would be 8-0 #1 right now with better defense. Bakers defense has been a letdown in many big games before, but he has a huge chance to redeem himself over these next 2 weeks.

The only state that really mattered was x-2 and that in both of the “2”, Baker’s defense was the difference maker.

@Ole Miss 24 points in first half
@Kentucky 21 points in first half
We straight up lost both of these games due to defense.
