Seems to be a significant drop off from RB-1 to the rest. Could be a problem in a long season, hopefully the rest step up their game in the coming weeks

That just means our RB-1 is really good. Not a problem

Durham and Berry were playing with the backup Oline

How would you know, did you see 3-4 run with the 1’s?

Lane runs his 1 about 80-85% of the time.

I don't disagree, but RBs can be rhythm and streakiness.

I mean, without a doubt, RB #1 (13) looks head, shoulders and chest better than any of the rest, but we can't ignore the fact that dudes not named Sam Leavitt and Dilin Jones rushed for almost 100 yards combined.

Just surprises to see Berry #3 and Durham #4
Durham probably pissed he stayed

This is a long season. I predict both will get opportunities to make plays during this season.

We thought there would be more of a rotation, but Dilin is clearly the bellcow. Shows you how high the staff thinks of Dilin

Durham likely realizes he doesn't have NFL talent by now. We'll see more of him and Berry as the season progresses.

Durham got real reps.

The decline is real.

No, if you actually watch the game this isnt surprising and some of us said so. Berry running smack dab into the center 3 times during the bowl game wasnt a good look at all. He hits non existent holes because he has 0 vision. Now, when he finds a hole he puts up yards. But when 80% of your carries are for less than 2 yards, its a problem.

BTW, actual stat. 81% of his runs are for 2 yards are less.

You put any of our RBs in with our first Offense they will all do just fine! What a breath of fresh air to see a running game.

That is a massive miss by recruiting services then.

They still wouldn't have nearly as much YAC, they get swatted down on first contact.

Not sure the massive DVs, but RB1 is far better than anyone else.

Yeah, you would hope that the offensive line coaching played a big factor there, but as bad as the OL coaching was under the last guy, running into the center multiple times kinda seems bad no matter what.
