What was your experience? I saw one person say they had a terrible experience with fans after the game and have seen a few on Facebook.

Their worst fans are the worst. Delusional & arrogant. Crave attention and validation. I think they feel like LSU became what they thought they should be or could be. LSU & Ole Miss were on the same level and bitter rivals in the 50s and 60s and they have never let go of the thought that they are not equal to LSU, Georgia, Alabama. It drives them nuts and they crave it so badly. They take it out the most on LSU and LSU fans. If you go to a game there when they aren’t playing LSU they aren’t as bad. LSU makes them go to a different place.

Bunch of mouthy, douchey frat guys but no credible threats . Older old miss fans were super friendly . It started to flip when lsu mounted the comeback . Had lsu won it likely would have ended up being an ugly scene .
The grove was extremely overrated and crowded . The atmosphere was pretty cool they pulled out all the stops . Fireworks ,pyro, lights , drones .

Tame. Didn't see anyone talking shite to anyone. I was honestly disappointed not a single Ole Miss fan tried to engage me in a negative way. Not before the game, not in the Grove, not at the game, not after the game. Nothing. Didn't have a big game energy at all
The game itself...if you thought we played a lot of piped in music, don't ever go to a game there. I didn't even hear their band the entire game. They didn't let any organic energy come into play at all. Just oppressive music from the moment the play went dead until the ball was snapped for 4 hours. It felt more like burning man than a football game. When their crowd yelled, I could still have a conversation with the person next to me without yelling

The frat boys were as expected.

Every school has good fans and shitty fans. You’ll hear stories about both depending on who you talk to.

uh we are talking at least 50 years. Youre saying the Ole Miss fanbase as a whole think they should be or could be on LSU's level? Puzzling. Considering Ole Miss in regards to football history there are at least 6 other SEC teams with a better football history. Thats not counting the new comers.

Me and two buddies were eating at one of the establishments in the square and we struck up a conversation with an Ole Miss fan and when we went to settle up the waiter told us that Ole Miss fan took care of our entire meal, drinks included.
Most people were fine, some mild trash talk, but mostly everyone was respectful. I did see some people acting like jackasses after the game, but we were just focused on getting the hell out of dodge.
Did have a piece of shite cop give me a ticket for a rolling stop(allegedly) on one of the shite roads heading into Oxford.

I’m confused at why you’re confused. Or Puzzled. Ole Miss has always thought they should be the same level as LSU. Which hasn’t been the case since the 60s. They’ve never come to terms with the fact they got left behind a long time ago.
LSU is the only SEC schools besides Bama with 3 or more National Championships in the last 25 years. LSU played in a NC game and lost , and Bama played in 2 NCs they lost. Not sure what 6 programs you’re talking about being better. Bama with more obviously and LSU are in rare air so to speak. Georgia is the next one if looking at last 25-30 years. If drives a lot of Ole Miss fans nuts that they’ve never made it to that kind of modern era success.

I was getting annoyed in the first half when they would play the piped in music all the way up until we snapped the ball. It seemed to stop in the 2nd half. I remember that in 2023 as well.
Pretty sure we don’t do that and I wished there was some rules enforced here. Atleast with a warning the first time. No reason to not cut it off when the team is set up initially.
