Croc killed him somehow, I guess drowning. Then just paraded around with the body. Then got rid of the body, and they shot it, and then they found his body and brought it ashore.

What's the crocodile devoured the soccer player it would be highly unusual to be able to swim off without the body.

From the headline I was imaging a crocodile coming onto the field during a game and dragging the player to his death. I am a little disappointed.
