Residents of Louisiana; based on the sheer number of car tags I see parked there.

Vegas for sure.

Leave the Strip and it can be a great destination. Great jumping off point for many NPs and outdoor life is fantastic.

I think that's the only one outside of Missouri.

Consensus picks I agree with (no order)

1) Navy Pier
2) Fisherman's Wharf
3) Times Square

I also agree with Miami and most of LA.

Vegas isn't really overrated to me, everyone knows Vegas is fake as shite. But it's fake as shite with plenty of fun stuff to do and good restaurants. Also, most everyone knows it can get really depressing after a little while.

I'd also nominate Orlando. I have no hatred of Disney, but Orlando is a garbage city.

Great call. Seattle is a beautiful city, but that place is disgusting.

No shite, there are both shrimp boats and crabbing boats within sight of the beach...no one is saying that's paradise.

That said, we're fishing in the morning and don't have to go far.

I think LA,Miami, and Nashville are all good candidates. I will add that I absolutely love LA bc I have spent considerable time there but for a tourist destination it is awful. Nashville is great for a 2 day bachelor party bender and that is about it.

i agree with

Nashville- Been plenty of times, dont get it. Its a good place, but give me Austin over Nashville 100/100 times

SF- I loved it and went once and did everything, no desire to go back

Grand Canyon

I dont get the hate for L.A. Go all the time for work and you are an hour away from so much. I love driving up or down the PCH.

WTF? The Grand Canyon is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. If you are finding GC overrated....you are doing it wrong. How is this overrated??

As compared to what other beaches in the US?
Oregon, California, Hawaii. The gulf water is gross. The weather is hot. The hotels/condos suck. This is an overrated thread. It's an overrated tourist destination. Period.
