Drive to Biloxi to look for syringes on the beach. It is treasure hunting for the kids

Drive to New Orleans, Mobile, or the landmass in between.

Sounds like you’ve got it covered, Chief.

Leave Hattiesburg and drive to Meridian.
It’ll make you appreciate Hattiesburg.

I’ve always been surprised as to why Hattiesburg doesn’t market themselves as a desirable place to live, especially for retirees.
Small town feel with all of the amenities you would need. Not too far from NW Florida beaches. Great local restaurants and plenty of nice golf courses. Affordable housing and a decent sized university too.

You may get a Cinderella glass from 1995 to drink out of and some wash rags from the Hampton inn as napkins but damn that place is good

Good looking females at said university as well.
There is also a real good BJJ school there. Probably not what the OP had in mind but throwing it out as an option.

Come on man! Meridian has its issues but he would drive through Laurel first. That will get the point across

See if Sanderson Farms allows tours. Ask the CEO for Favre's number to grab lunch.

Bring your ipad and watch Netflix.

Is there a reason why you need to waste a day with two young kids in Hattiesburg? Why will you be there?
