my only suggestion for you is go see all the sites early in the morning , before 10 am and it is an entirely different experience (no people). We went to the Vatican at 8:30 am and it had <100 people in it, was amazing and peaceful.
I think there's a decent market for thermostats that look like Nest units, but zero smart features.

This is what you want. Its only wifi, programmable settings, have it on my house and it works great and have had 0 problems so far. its not a "learning" thermostat like Nest, just a digital one you can use from your phone

It goes to yuour main drain line. There is a tattle tale pipe that is routed to the outside of your house from the drain pan

THis is what I use. Safe to eat and will kill the bugs, rust and blight. Spray it now and then again in 7 days

Lafayette has much less things to do really. Unless you go to Avery Island, which is cool. New Orleans has significantly more tourist things to offer

you squeeze the lemons on the crafish after you pull them. You get that nice lemon taste and the heat. At least that is what I do, i dont put lemon juince in the pot while its boiling. After they are spread on the table, I squeeze the lemons on them

That is beyond awful. It is sad to see it go that route, we were never the best but would win district every now and then in baseball with Hannan in it. We were competitive.
