It's probably because you're in Greece.
But seriously, they have been damn near impossible to get for a long time. I'm like you I have the TSAPre/CLEAR combo for domestic so it's not a huge deal

Not sure where you are located but, you can try Global Entry Now. It scans for appointment changes and cancellations and will show you the next available appt for any location that has openings.

You have to check constantly. Every morning and throughout the day. Take whatever you can get.
It sucks.
It sucks.

Are you using it to fly into Nola? You really don't need it if so. JFK or ATL it is a must

You can do it on landing if you can't find a slot. They are extremely backlogged.
In some places Mobile Passport is as fast as Global Entry.

Why did you get TSA and not Global? Isn’t it like $20-30 more?

I just happened to be at the airport on a delay and walked into the office. After a 15 minute wait they let me do my interview even though I wasn't scheduled at that airport and no time soon.

How to get yourself a walk-in interview
….Assuming you have an international trip planned

When landing in an international terminal follow the signage directing you to CBP officers who can complete your Global Entry interview during your admissibility inspection

Global Entry on arrival is the correct answer. Just walk to the GE line and say "I'd like to do my interview now." The agents have to not be so overwhelmed at the time of your visit to do it but I've given a couple people that advice in '22 and have had 0 issues, you'll be out within 10 minutes.

Just do the interview when you come back through immigration. Interview appointments are a clusterfrick and have been for 18+ months.

Do you have to be coming back from an international flight to do it on arrival? Can’t be done after a domestic flight?

Just did a “walk-through” renewal interview in Houston a couple of weeks ago. Took about 5 minutes. Cleared customs twice in Houston this summer. Both times they 2 guys just sitting there not doing anything.

Has to be international. No way to get to immigration through the airport. They will do it on the spot as you come through.

The actual interview is silly. I sat down, he checked my passport, asked about one stamp, shook my hand, and sent me on my way.

Was it Global Interview? Global normally requires an electronic background check for prior crimes. Typically it is fast but still take a few minutes for them to get the data back and the clearance before the interviewing officer can give it the okay.
If you have any types of issues such as assault, DWI, etc.. you are required to bring the formal case disposition with you for review in case the digital background flags you for it. Goes back typically 15 years for non-violent and well beyond that for violent crimes.

Yes but you can’t go to in person until the other is done.

The requirements are not well communicated prior to the interview. I got an interview around 2017, and when I told the agent 20 seconds into the conversation that I got a DWI 20 years prior, he told me to leave. WTF? I've never smuggled in cash or Proscuitto, which is what TSA is supposedly trying to "protect" us against. It wasn't listed as a disqualifying issue, which is the only reason I applied, but he had his own opinions.
Global entry is only worth it if you transit through SFO/EWR, in my view. PreCheck entry has been closed (in the middle of the day, no less) in SFO for no apparent reason, and clearing customs nearly cost me a missed flight as I sat in line for nearly an hour to be able to board my connection to IAH.
I'd just avoid the horrible airports on the coasts. I'm Star Alliance, hence SFO/EWR/ORD being risks. No idea what the issues for SkyTeam/OneWorld are, but it's probably predictable.
PreCheck is nearly free with status, and if you have the right credit card, it's paid for. Clear is super cheap too.

I did the interview when flying back from an international trip. Took 20 minutes. This past trip was the first time I used it...skipped about 45 mins of lines at Miami
