Going to UF in Gainesville.
We went a couple of times on our tenth anniversary, stayed in France 18 days. This time we’re staying put in Paris for a week. We have 6th story apartment, no lift, in the Latin Quarter. Going to be really fun.

We went last week and also stayed in Waikiki. All we did was sleep in Waikiki, most days were spent exploring beaches on the windward side and also the north shore. We also went to Ko Olina one day. I’d like to go back and do an inter-island cruise to see Kauai and Maui.

Others have given some good tips, and here’s something I’ll throw out there as a unique experience. I’m not sure if you all like Indian food, but even if you don’t, walking down Brick Lane around dinner time is a truly unique experience. The street is lined with restaurants, each with a “promoter” trying to lure you into theirs. They are loud and kind of funny. You can haggle with them to try and get a good deal. And the food at most restaurants is fantastic.
I went to grad school in London and lived there for a while, and I would always bring visiting friends there for a dinner and they all had a blast

The youngest daughter is getting married this fall so most of our funds have been redirected to that. It the week after the wedding the wife and I are going to Disneyland. I’ve never been to anything Disney, she is from LA and been pushing this trip for years.

We went to London in 2022 and my then 21 year old daughter insisted we eat at a restaurant called Sketch bc of their bathroom. Your 15 year old would probably love it! We also went see Mary Poppins in the theater district, which I thought was a perfect show while in London!

NYC-Albany-Burlington- Brattleboro-Farmington, CT (where out friends live so staying with them for a week). Gonna see Kurt Vile in New Haven and Jeff Tweedy at Tree House Brewing. Never been to Albany so staying a couple of days there.
If I were 15....or even my age, I would spend an afternoon walking around Shoreditch which is the hippest part of London these days. Its full of all sorts of cool shops, art galleries, cafes, etc. and is the epicenter of London fashion.

If anyone has any suggestions for things to do in London that are unique for her, then that would be welcomed.

Headed to Japan in July. Nothing booked yet except the flights. JAL Business Class direct from DFW to Haneda on the A350-1000!
May throw a Europe trip in towards the end of summer but still up in the air on that.

My wife and I are having our first child any day now. Plan is for two weeks in Maine in August to see family as a first trip, but that is very much TBD on how everything goes.
Congrats on the little one! My son is about to turn 1 and we took our first trip with him in August, let me know if you want some trips for traveling at that age.

Yessir - we're already going to see Phantom of The Opera. Might see if we can squeeze in another show.

Yep, a lot of that is already on the list - looking for some "different" things to do that she might like - something out of the norm. But, thank you for the list!
Take one of the commuter boats down to Greenwich early one morning. Eat breakfast at Heap’s. Walk through the park up to the observatory and see the Prime Meridian. By then the maritime museum should be open, it doesn’t take too long to walk through.

Awesome. The wife and I talked about this last night - thank you for confirming it’s worth it!

Driving from Nola to Colorado late June. Staying near Breckenridge in an Airbnb cabin. Plan on spending a day in Denver, boating on the Dillon Reservoir, Rocky Mountain National Park, etc. Open to any suggestions as well.

Agree with Zappa on Shoreditch. It's a really cool neighborhood.
I had a great meal at St. John Smithfield a few years back. Maybe check out the menu and see if it's something your 15 year old would also like, but I always recommend it as a good dinner spot.
We're going to Gymkhana for dinner one night this summer. It's supposed to be the best place for Indian.
