Bump! Does anyone have any wheelchair accessible seats in the lower bowl for this weekend? My sister would love to bring her 17 year old severely disabled son to the game!

re: Tell me about Greece

I went in June 2019 for 2 weeks with my 18 year old daughter. It was amazing! We spent 3-4 nights in each of these places:

Naxos - the most authentic and one of my favorites
Santorini - crowded during the day, but still beautiful
Chania, Crete - charming and my second favorite
Athens, with a day trip to Delphi - cool to see the Acropolis and original Olympic stadium

From Chania, we did a day trip to Balos Beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Greece was safe, almost everyone spoke English, and it was very affordable once we arrived. It was the perfect mix of history, beaches, and great food.

I'm looking for 2 handicap accessible tickets in the lower bowl for the Western Kentucky game. The ticket office has them available in the upper deck but I need to be in the lower bowl. Thanks!

Does anyone have the link to that Gameday?
There are two Facebook groups that I joined that had lots of info on Curacao and sometimes there are posts about Bonaire. The groups are named Curacao Vacation Tips and The Curacao Visitors Forum.
We went to Hawaii in 2023 and Curacao in 2024, and loved both. Curacao is a bit easier to reach, with shorter flights and less adjustment to a different time zone. Curacao has European architecture with a Caribbean vibe! The snorkeling was amazing and all of the beaches were gorgeous. We stayed in this modern condo in the Blue Bay Resort area: condo. I'd also recommend getting a dining reservation at El Gaucho - they had the best views and a great steak. Have fun!
Thanks! Thats unfortunate bc the new flight will cost double what the original flight cost.
My daughter was flying Delta from LGA to Panama City to meet us at the beach today, and her flight was canceled at around midnight. She was on hold all night with their app service and never got an agent, so she’s on her way to the airport now. Hoping to get on a SW flight that leaves at 1. Will Delta pay for her SW flight?
I don't know what resort sites you've looked at but you might consider searching at the homes on Caribbean Villas of St. John We rented a home from them and were very impressed. Someone from their office met us at the house upon check-in and were available all week if we had questions.

Stowe, Vermont in the summer

Posted by lsualum98 on 5/26/25 at 5:18 pm
I'm traveling to Stowe, VT in July for a conference at the Stoweflake Resort. I'd like to stay a few extra days to hike and kayak. I'd love recommendations on things to do, restaurants, shops, etc. I'd also like input on whether I need to rent a car.

I'm also considering going to Montreal since it's only 2.5 hours away. Is there enough to do in Stowe for 2 to 3 days, or should I just head straight to Montreal after my meetings?

I'm traveling to Stowe this summer. I'd love to hear your recommendations on restaurants, shops, and summer activities. Thanks!
Walk to Laduree for macarons!
We went to London in 2022 and my then 21 year old daughter insisted we eat at a restaurant called Sketch bc of their bathroom. Your 15 year old would probably love it! We also went see Mary Poppins in the theater district, which I thought was a perfect show while in London!

My daughter lives in NY and one of her favorite restaurants is 19 Cleveland, an Israeli / Mediterranean restaurant near Soho.

When we visited her last summer, we walked around Little Island and also toured the Tenement Museum. I’d recommend both.

I’d love to know how your daughter was invited for Fashion Week - that’s so cool!

I'd also recommend a tour of the Library of Congress. In my opinion, it's the most beautiful building in DC. It's next door to the Supreme Court, so you could try to tour those back to back. It's been years since I've been, but the Library of Congress used to give a one hour overview tour that was fantastic. There's also a children's library that your kids can go to.
We had the same issue, until we defrosted the gas regulator. We installed a heat lamp next to it and that helped.

Baton Rouge

I have a coworker flying in for the Louisiana Marathon this weekend, so I'm driving up to Baton Rouge to meet her and show her around. We'll have Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. She wants to go to the top of the Capital and see Mike the Tiger. Can anyone suggest anything else that we can do? Unfortunately the USS Kidd is out and the Old State Capitol is temporarily closed.

Further east in Florida try Anna Maria Island.

How does Anna Maria Island compare to 30A? I'd love to check out a new beach area but my young adult kids love 30A and want to keep going back there. (We'll be going for the 4th of July week, if that makes a difference).
I think Animal Kingdom is worth it. The walkways are wider than the other parks, so it has more space and doesn't seem as crowded as the other parks. Everyone is talking about the rides, but be sure to also see the Lion King show! While you're in that area, you might also plan to have a meal at one of the restaurants at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's really cool to see all of the animals roaming around outside while you're eating! I just stayed there at Thanksgiving and we saw giraffes and zebras from our balcony.
I was there at that time last year. I found a room at the Washington Square Hotel for a decent price, so you might want to check them out. It's a quaint boutique hotel with a great restaurant.
