I was playing on Google flights and came across it. Just a heads up if anyone could benefit.

Spirit would have to pay me at least $200/RT to fly on their "airplane." Good luck. After fees, you will probably pay $250/RT.

There's nothing wrong with Spirit's planes. In fact, most of them are fairly new.

The seats don't have a lot of legroom, to be sure, but it's not so bad on a 2.5-hour flight. I'm an even 6 feet tall, and I flew MSY-DEN on Spirit and had a flight that was just fine.

with spirit you can bid on the bigger seats in the front also if people dont buy them. I bid $25 each way on my flight to vegas and back and won both times. seats still werent terribly comfortable but at least I had alot of room and wasnt jammed up against the people next to me.

Spirit is not necessarily a primary choice for a lot of people. I've done it a few times when the schedules fit. It's not the best experience.

Just went to Key West and had a blast. At this price I may go right back.

I enjoy a fine steak as much as the next guy, but there are also times when I'm hungry and will grab a hotdog at Circle K.

Not every meal needs to be a fine steak, and Spirit is fine for what it is.

I'll eat a roller dog from the QT, but I won't fly Spirit

I’ve had much better luck with Spirit than American Airlines or United.

Spirit is fine if you do your homework.

People just think it is cool to say theyll never fly them.

They've done exactly what they said they would do when I use them. The only issues is the people that I am flying with

I love it! Off topic, but one Disney trip, I stood in line for Slinky Dog while the family ate $20 footlong hotdogs and I skipped lunch. When we left the park, I was starving and devoured 2 hot dogs and a drink from Racetrack for $4. Lol. I told the family that’s how we are eating at Disney next trip.

Can always spot spirit passengers going through security, prefer not to fly with them

Was worth it to get to the Keys.

have used them many times for MIA/FLL As long as you have a backpack and not a roller you don’t have to pay for luggage. A backpack even if too big to fit under the seat is a “personal item” and free. Put it in the overhead storage once you board.
