Being able to DVR sporting events is why I'm with PSVue instead of DTVNow.

Just saw the YouTube tv thread, no Viacom or turner channels for them. Looks like I will be sticking with dtn alittle longer. Hopefully the Roku app comes out by the end of the 1st quarter like they've said

Glad NBC Sports has added the DTVN login option to the app. Still waiting for Nick Jr. to join the party.

DTVN representative said they are working on Nick and Nick Jr but don't have specific dates yet.

They recently ran fiber to my subdivision also and I'm out of contract and currently paying $145 for a middle of the road DTV package (this includes 8 TV's) and $90 for Cox 100 Mbps. What # did you call to get that deal? I've called both DTV and ATT and asked for a 1g fiber + DTV bundle, but no one seems to be able to quote a bundle with 1g, they try to sell me UVerse 45 mbps.

Just cut the cord on DTV Now and added PS Vue. Wow what a difference. The interface is so much more organized and user-friendly and having a DVR and easily accessible On Demand makes it. I am paying $25 more than the $40 special introductory package I had with DTV Now but I think the features gained are well worth it.

You can just about get a DTV or Dish network package for that price.... Saving $5-10 a month wouldn't make it worth it to me.

Yeh the shitty package with minimal channels.

My U-Verse bill was $240/month which included internet and the U-450 package with 3 boxes and all the premium channels. Now I'm on the hook for less than $150 but I have everything I want/need to watch plus HBO and Showtime. I did make a capital investment in a badass OTA antenna and 1 Apple TV and I got 1 Apple TV free with 3 months prepaid DTV Now service($105).

Is SlingTV the only streaming app that works on the the Xbox One S? Dunno how DTVNow doesn't have more compatible devices.

I guess PSVue will never go to Microsofts Xbox One, albeit that seems dumb to me. Why not take money from MS customers?!

And it's 145 for Directv AND 1gb Internet

with how many channels

and after your introductory rate is up, that price will double

and doesn't AT&T have data caps on their service. Whats the point of having a gig down when its capped.

How recent did they lay the fiber? It took about 6 months for them to start offering fiber services after they laid it.

I received a flyer in the mail about a 2 year price lock which included 1 main genie and 3 genie minis. When I called to see about it the guy said I was eligible for their 1 gig for $70 a month when added to a DTV package.

To the person who asked, I have the second highest package.

Honestly the best thing about Vue/DTV now is that when the cable/satellite company calls your bluff on cancelling you have something to watch right away.

We did Vue for 3 months then got the new customer pricing again from dish

Agree 100%. Spectrum (formerly time warner) just upped my rate so I shopped all my options, including streaming. By far the 2 best values would have been bundles from att including internet and either direct tv or uverse. I went with a 2 year locked rate of $90/month internet and mid tier directv package with whole home dvr, NFL Sunday ticket and a $300 rebate. For $90 I could have got internet with a streaming service with 50-100 less channels and no rebate. It was a no brainer.

In 2 years if directv jacks up my rate too much, I'll go back to spectrum on their new customer bundle pricing.

For anyone that lives in an area where you have at least 2 national provider options, I don't see how a streaming service makes sense. When u buy internet a la carte the price is significantly higher than if it's bundled.

Look through your DirecTV guide and count the infomercial channels. I did this the other day, I have the choice package and I ended up counting 49.

What if you don't want a trashy satellite on the side of your house or your roof?

I was getting ready to cancel Cox and called them up. I had a very good deal with them which expires in a few days (12 month plan). 2 tuner Contour 2 DVR with mid range channels and HBO for $50 and he said he could extend the deal for another 12 months which I was not expecting.

Looks like I won't cut the cord after all and will cancel the Directv now $35 half off deal.
