re: PMI numbers released yesterday looked gooood, Atl fed GDP to 4.7% - dltigers3
My wife and I make about 60k each. Our paychecks went up noticeably after the tax cuts... And she got a good raise this year. I'm guaranteed a raise every year so I won't factor that in, but she gets raises based on profits at her office. Our health insurance hasn't increased this year, which ...

re: Question for Tacoma owners - dltigers3
I've got a 4 year old and 2 year old in the backseat of mine. I've driven about and hour and 45 minutes with 2 adults in the backseat before. It was tight, but doable. I probably wouldn't go any longer than that with adults...

re: Starting to see very spotty wifi downstairs, is the answer google wifi/mesh system? - dltigers3
So I never got a response to my question but I pulled the trigger and bought a 3 pack. Setup was easy, and I used my existing wifi name and password. All of my devices connected automatically with no issues. I might have to do a workaround to add new 2.4ghz devices, but I will cross that bridge when...

re: Starting to see very spotty wifi downstairs, is the answer google wifi/mesh system? - dltigers3
So I am looking for a mesh wifi system. I was leaning towards the Google mesh system, but I'm concerned that I will have an issue connecting my 2.4ghz smart switches to the network. Anyone have experience with this? The main thing is I have to have my phone connected to the 2.4ghz network for the...

re: What's the latest in iPhone vs Android? - dltigers3
Well now that allo is dead, we can only hope for rcs to take off. I'm cautiously optimistic it will, although I thought tmobiles rollout would accelerate that, and they have totally botched that...

re: What's the latest in iPhone vs Android? - dltigers3
The only way I would ever go back to iOS would be if they let you delete their bs apps, add home screen widgets, and an app drawer. When I open up my wife's iPhone and see a million apps, it drives me insane. Even with those changes I feel like I still probably wouldn't switch. Imessage is the on...

re: Deployment 2018 - dltigers3
I was in Iraq for the 2011 season. Man, as much as it sucked being over there, that season was awesome. It'll always be special for me. I woke up at like 2 am to watch every game. Would go to our hq and stream them on my laptop. Got to watch the game of the century at vbc. It was like 3 LSU fans...

re: Android 9 Pie is Rolling Out to Google Pixel Phones Today - dltigers3
I didn't mean that the app was buggy, or slow or anything like that. More that is just feels awkward. Like the layout doesn't make sense at times...

re: Android 9 Pie is Rolling Out to Google Pixel Phones Today - dltigers3
I completely agree, Google is awful at marketing it's services at times, but it seems they are making an effort to correct that. They put out a ton of commercials for Duo. I think GPM was a clumsy interface also, it might have been easier for them to start over vs redesigning the GPM app. Add to...

re: Android 9 Pie is Rolling Out to Google Pixel Phones Today - dltigers3
I just searched that song on mine and had about 10 different versions under the "videos" section. Now, I've never heard of that song, so it may be the same version with just different uploaders, but they all seemed like different versions to me...

re: Android 9 Pie is Rolling Out to Google Pixel Phones Today - dltigers3
It is more for branding, YouTube is the most popular video player in the world, Google play music is relatively unknown. They feel they can compete with spotify, Pandora, etc with the YouTube brand behind them...

re: Not excited about future Pixel 3 renderings (and rumors). Dare I say Apple X2? - dltigers3
When I was buying my pixel 2 last year, I saw a ton of reviews complaining about the bezels... But for me, I don't care at all about bezels, it's a no brainier trade-off for good front facing speakers...

re: Android 9 Pie is Rolling Out to Google Pixel Phones Today - dltigers3
They will have to include local music in YouTube music. I can not imagine them not having a way to listen to previously "purchased" music. But if not, there are several other Android apps for playing music files...

re: Need a scanner for old family photos - dltigers3
I've tried it with old Polaroids and was extremely impressed with the quality. Considering the quality of the originals, I thought the scans turned out perfect. Just make sure you have good lighting and no weird glares or anything....
