I just bought some kanu surf brand off Amazon. Very comfortable. I used to only wear Columbia, but have noticed my last couple of pairs faded extremely quick....

re: Hotel recs for hoover - dltigers3
Thanks for all the responses so far. I know I could easily Google this, but you definitely don't get a good idea for the area from a hotel search. And I know my son will love it. He is only 4, but he wants to watch baseball every second of the day...

re: Tried Android P beta on my Pixel 2 - dltigers3
Yes even texts, make sure you have sms backup enabled in your settings. Texts, call logs, settings, pics, music, really everything should be backed up. It took me about 10 minutes to erase my phone, reinstall Oreo, and have everything back up and running...

re: Tried Android P beta on my Pixel 2 - dltigers3
It's pretty easy as long as you have Google backing everything up. Google definitely has the whole cloud backup miles ahead of iOS. I can grab a brand new phone, sign in with my gmail and have everything there within 10 minutes...

Tried Android P beta on my Pixel 2 - dltigers3
So I tried the beta for the past week. Really like the new launcher, and the notifications look great. The volume control is ok, but I prefer Oreos volume slider to the vertical one. Also, there aren't drop down tabs for Bluetooth, wifi, etc in the top bar like there are on Oreo. The adaptive bat...

re: The Greyskull Methods- A Primer - dltigers3
I must be missing it. I see where it says to do one of 3 methods, but I'm not seeing any explanation of those methods. I need to get my lazy arse to read that book I guess haha. I can work out all day and run around with the kids, but I hate reading so I struggle with making myself do that...

re: The Greyskull Methods- A Primer - dltigers3
Can someone point me to what we are supposed to be doing as far as pushup and crunches on the off days? I think I said before that my main area of focus right now is tightening up my chest, trying to make sure I'm doing right on off days. As far as crunches go, I've been doing the 6 pack in 30...

re: ISO advice on buying used boat... updated Questions in OP - dltigers3
I have a 2002 procraft fish and ski and I love it. It is good enough for me and a couple buddies to go out fishing, and we can ski, wakeboard, and tube behind it pretty easy. They get alot of hate, but for a family boat I think it's great. And my hull is pretty flat, but they don't make procraft any...

re: Anybody else get shafted on the cooler deal? - dltigers3
According to pointdog, whether it's a Tesla or a lifted f350 dually they cost the same to operate so it doesn't matter And do you also take the standard deduction on your taxes, or do you itemize to save yourself money? This is the same principle. There might be a standard amount per mile, but if...

re: Anybody else get shafted on the cooler deal? - dltigers3
Ok buddy. You still think the dude was only going to save a few bucks. And that's ok if you want to live in a fantasy world. This will be my last response because you obviously don't live in the real world if you believe that every vehicle costs the same per mile to operate and maintain. And...

re: Anybody else get shafted on the cooler deal? - dltigers3
But we are talking about the real world, so his vehicle size 100 percent matters. If you were trying to calculate if this was a good business model, then I would agree that you have to use the standard rate, but we are talking about an actual person, with an actual vehicle. And I still can't ...

re: Anybody else get shafted on the cooler deal? - dltigers3
What work is he driving it for? Does it cost the same in fuel and wear and tear to drive from St Louis to Memphis in a 1992 f250 as it does a 2015 Prius? Let's do some actual calculation instead of going off the IRS write off rates Figureing everything up around 550 miles round trip Fuel...

re: Anybody else get shafted on the cooler deal? - dltigers3
Whatever you say big guy. If you think it costs 300 dollars to drive St Louis to Memphis and back then I can't argue with you anymore. Especially without even knowing what vehicle the dude even drives. You say whether I think it's accurate doesn't matter, but if it's not accurate then that is not...
