I am looking to move on from Chrome. I am hearing that the new Microsoft Edge is actually pretty good, despite Explorer being the model of obsolescence. Anyone have any opinions? Are any of them more secure or private than the others?

We are using Edge in our household and it works well.
Google is all about gathering personal information to sell to the highest bidder for ads.
Microsoft Edge doesn't seem as invasive and it's shopping assistance is actually useful at times.
For instance, when shopping for a particular item it generates a graph that shows the pricing trend of the item.

If you don't want to be tracked, try Brave.

If you want the best browser you shouldn’t move away from Chrome.

What makes Chrome the best IYO? Most of the major browsers use the same rendering, javascript, and graphics engines. Chrome, Chromium, Brave, Edge, Opera, Vivaldi, etc.

I've used Firefox for at least the past five years... No complaints. Custom userChrome for one-line appearance.

I am a fan of Brave browser, but I think any browser can be tracked if the user has risky browsing habits.

Use anti-tracking extensions, ad blockers, reject cookies, don't allow web sites to track your location.

In this day and age, if you really want privacy, you have to be vigilant. Just downloading a specific browser and thinking you're good, is not enough.

I use Duckduckgo as well. I wonder why it got down votes. Can someone explain if and why another browser such as Brave is better than Duckduckgo.

I didn't dv, and it may be my own biased thinking but I assumed OP was asking about desktop browsers.

Do you have any specific anti-tracking extensions you recommend?
