1) I love this thread so much

2) (and addressing the above quote): OP is taking the high road all the way. Killing something in her yard is crossing the line. Everything he has done has successfully pissed her off while staying inside the guidelines. It's driving her nuts that she can't drive him nuts. Could it be a little immature of him to drive her nuts? Yes. But based on most of the info given, it seems like the OP is actually more or less in the clear with all of his actions and is more of less justified to prevent harassment without getting anyone else involved (which would likely serve to excalate the scenario).

3) OP, I'm enjoying this. Please don't stop with the updates.

Got another update:

She's getting a new condenser put in today by some jack-leg looking dude with a beat up old work truck. No permit displayed, and I doubt he's a licensed contractor.

Called code enforcement. If they come out today, they'll stop the installation until a licensed contractor can get a permit. If the guy finishes the installation, she'll get fined heavily for not getting a permit, and not using a licensed mechanical contractor.

She's now learning that if you mess with the bull, you get the horns. Hopefully code enforcement comes out today, and she'll be sweating her arse off for the next few days

My neighbor's cat sometimes climbs up a tree and causes my dog to bark. I guess that is the only complaint I can think of.

One of my neighbors edges my yard for free. Another one offered to help pay for and provide labor to rebuild my fence. The lady across the street calls about odd activity when we're out of town. Another said my kids can use their pool any time. Another brings me fresh vegetables from his garden.

Just in case OP didn't know how shitty his neighbor is.

+1. I'm curious now because based on your pasts post, I know you live relatively close to me. I just can't pin point where it is. I am guessing on Aurora or Helios between Vets and I10

My neighbor would mace your kid. I'm keeping this house, but the next one I live in won't have neighbors within sight

Just read through this, damn.

Sounds like this is too far gone. I'd say I could probably help but I am scared to call this one in.

I don’t really like my neighbors but after reading this thread I’m gonna go give them all hugs.

I saw this after reading through the entire thread. My mind jumped straight to a medieval type mace. She seems like that kind of person.

Great thread.

I'm moving next month into a new house in OM.

I've been to the house twice. Once to see it before making the offer and once for the inspection. Both times the neighbor across the street whipped into her driveway going at least 25-30 mph. Tires screeching as she slammed her brakes once she got into the driveway. This is a one block long dead end street. Absolutely 0 reason to be flying down this street.

If it was once, I wouldn't think anything of it. But it appears this person has a habit of going double or triple the average speed of everyone else on the street. Makes me a little concerned that she is the type that thinks she owns the block.

I plan on renting this house out when I move. Next place will have some acreage and trees surrounding it. frick other people. I'd rather commute than deal with this type of thing again

good news is my land (2.5 acres) backs up a property with 140+ acres of woods with zero development so we have tons of privacy.

bad news is miley cyrus lives on those 140 acres.
