France takes off their two best players and brings on another future star, who’s been riding the bench.

Insane

It really is. I am totally stunned by what I just watched France do in this match.

Of the top 5 players in the world, 1 is Messi, 1 is Ronaldo, and the other 3 play on this France team.

Something extremely flukey would have to happen for France to lose

What? Currently, or all time. Can't agree with that regardless of your meaning.

No Haaland? Haaland is likely top 3 in the world, he’s certainly better than Ronaldo at 39.

Yeah, Ronaldo is a shell of his former self. He’s not even close to being a top 5 player in the world.

The locks for the 5 best on the planet would be Messi still, Haaland, Mbappe. After that you could probably make a case for a few different players for the last 2 spots.

That was an execution. It looked like a simple business transaction. No huge emotion, no drama, just show up, dominate, go home with a win.

The scary thing is this was France chilling in a low gear. Had they played all out they’d have won 10-0 easy

Now….time for “frick Mexico” mode

Only way France doesn't win the cup is if they beat themselves.

France could have easily had 7 or 8 today. Olise may be the best player of all of them. Former Palace man !!

France is incredible, but Sweden also barely qualified for the World Cup and got worked by the Netherlands 5-1.

England/Spain even a team like Morocco will have a punchers chance against France.

How many bookings are we expecting tonight?

I think we get 5 yellows, minimum. Maybe a red.

Look France is good but let’s not act like Sweden is a juggernaut. They got embarrassed by the Dutch. Were fortunate to play Qatar in game 3. France is beatable.
