I was wrong on the first match, thought it would be higher scoring 3-2 Norway. This one is going pretty much how I thought. But I had 4 goals in it, needs to pick up a bit

Olise could be the best 10 since Zidane (Yes, I’m an old head who thinks Zidane was the best). Olise is sooooo good, it’s kind of mesmerizing to watch him play.

Also, if I were his teammate this tourney, Dembele would be driving me crazy. The numbers of times he’s been offsides when he’s playing wide and looking down the line is ridiculous.

They were before it started.

I'll be interested in seeing the larger sample size. He's been playing wing almost exclusively until Deschamps made him a 10.

They can play any style. But are so fun to watch when Deschamps is stepping back. This tournament barring match missing injuries is almost over watching this team. I think it's almost like the seriously old soccer fans regard the 1970 times Brazil teams.

He’s too good at distributing to be on the wing. He needs to be in the middle and building attacks.

Isak has sucked tonight and hasn’t been good when he played for Liverpool.

They’re going to try to get Mbappe the hat trick, like it’s a friendly

Mbappe might be the best player on the world, but he also might not be the best player on his team

You know, there was a little piece of me that thought the UMNT had a legit shot to win it all, but then I watched France play and realized there's not a snowballs chance in hell of that happening.

This French squad has the chance to go down as the best ever, and they’re pretty young overall

Watching France in this world cup is like watching prime Alabama/Nick Saban
