One thing with Norway winning is it means I really really need England to win tonight. Cannot have Mexico be the favorites to make a semifinal.

Their last game in Azteca is tonight I don't think it's a given they would beat Norway in Miami....

Oh shite, you're like actually mad that you're doing "i know you are but what am I?" on a message board of a sport you don't like

I thought we were just clowning around.

I don't think I'd want to be an English fan in that stadium if England rolls Mexico like that

As amazing as it would be, I refuse to believe Mexico can get "rolled" in the Azteca. Too much scar tissue.

If England wins, it will be in a rock fight.

No way… someone on here has said multiple times watching a Mexico game with Mexican fans is the funnest experience ever, so it’s gotta be even better to be there in person regardless of the outcome

I think I slightly lean England because frick Mexico

Everyone needs to think with brains and not heart. Yes frick Mexico, but they aren’t playing in Mexico City for the rest of the tournament. We have a better chance beating Mexico on a more neutral place than England.

Furthermore a lot of England supporters might get a glimpse into what we deal with in CONCACAF and the amount of hacking and flopping.

I’ll pull hard for Norway though. 19 year old is currently over there on a University of Alabama course and is currently seeking a bar to watch the game. She had no luck finding a Norway jersey though.

Gimme a minute to find a way to share a video. She watched the game at the Oslo Cathedral and everyone went absolutely nuts on Haaland’s second to seal it.

England played an amazing opening match against Croatia. Since they they have been super meh in drawing Ghana, playing with their food vs Panama, and then needing Kane heroics to stave off DR Congo.

I just don't see a world where they roll into Azteca at altitude, at night, and at the scene of Maradona's Hand of God & Goal of the Century game and roll on Mexico esp with Mexico having posted clean sheets in all 4 games along the way.

I can easily see this going 0-0 and heading to penalties and if that comes to fruition then I think England does advance but we will see it should be fun no matter what.

So you’d rather play England than Mexico bc frick Mexico? 99.9999% of the time I want Mexico to lose but if it means playing England straight up as opposed to playing Mexico away from Azteca, I’m wanting that

The chances of one of Mexico and US making it to the final is still so minuscule, let alone both making it, that I'm not even factoring that in as a possibility.

Never forget when Dortmund had all the hype building around their three young guns.

Of course our guy is the only one who didn't turn into a superstar.
