Not sure who thought his schtick would work at the MLB level but I still expect he will flame out spectacularly next season and probably be fired before the season even ends.

I don't get the hate everyone has for the NIT. Sure I would never sit down and watch it the way I do the NCAAT but Texas has won it twice (once back in 1978 when it was far more meaningful) and again in 2019 when it was still pre NIL premadonnas declining but I'd still rather do what Auburn did vs decline/go to some other scrub arse tournament.

We had a group back in college who would meet up at Hooters for Sunday Night Baseball back when they had legit specials for sporting events like 25 cent wings during Top 25 college basketball games, etc.
SNB died for me when ESPN blew up the Jon Miller & Joe Morgan pairing I had basically gotten accustomed to them for most of my youth on Sunday Nights.
I couldn't even begin to tell you where it's broadcast, who is on it and I can't remember the last time I watched it because it's been a long long time.

Considering I had never heard of the asswater tournament the Sooners were playing in and the other is a tournament where the championship game is decided by 28 points and the winning team shot an amazing 43% from the floor we need the who gives a shite Harrison Ford gif.
When your sport has 9/16 of the league participating and is heavily rigged by judges it is suspect.
