Dumb question because I don’t know strategy but why doesn’t the keeper bomb it past mid field every time? It seems like I’ve seen good things happen when they do that. It comes off someone’s head in contested fashion and bounce to your guy on the edge.

Neither team has a real striker in the hold up playing style. They just aren’t big enough. The possession style soccer is what both teams play. Spain is the best at that and always will be.
