Dembele should have put that short corner back to the spot.

Like Varsenal vs PSG. It’s a best chance tactic

Paraguay is playing the only way anyone can beat France. 5-5-1 with 4 guys who never cross midfield. It’s frustrating the shite out of France too with the tackles.

A team that surrendered 4 goals to the US has held Mbappe and France scoreless.

Rabiot is easily the worst regular player on this French team

Just saying
Pointless observation when Paraguay wasn’t parking the bus against us from minute 1, and our early goal completely opened the game up

This. If France get one goal, it’ll open up and they’ll probably get at least one more for a 2-0 final.

Paraguay’s entire game plan is if they can’t get lucky on a set piece, to hold them scoreless for 120 minutes and take your chances in PKs

Paraguay are getting away with so many dirty tactics because this ref refuses to show cards
yeah they also keep fouling away from the ball on France attacks

Does it seem like France is getting frustrated and resorting to sending wild shots towards the goal?

France needs to start hitting these shots from beyond the 18. They have the power and accuracy, and it will open them up.

Soccer casual but it seems like Paraguay is just trying to play for the France f*ck up rather than actually attacking.

There is no space for normal distribution in and around the area because all 11 defenders are back and compact

Hitting something on target and forcing a rebound is one of their best ways to score

Assuming their extremely talented finishers don't put it in outright
