The Haaland push was a dive by England too negating a goal. Where was the yellow for that dive?

Haaland wasn’t cautioned for the foul, so VAR can’t intervene.

I’m not sure how anyone can say this is evidence of Argentina bias. The only reason VAR was able to intervene is because the ref gave Paredes an undeserved yellow.

“Daddy, when you got kicked out the World Cup playing for the hopes of our nation, did you punch a man in the face and beat his arse?”

I love seeing the simulation rule correctly applied. Embolo got caught. He earned that yellow.

I understand the argument that just because you gave a yellow to one guy that you then automatically have to give it the other guy as being bullshite, but it wasn't in this case. A clear dive.

That would have been incredible.

The benefit of diving was so small too. I get trying it to earn a penalty, but a random foul in the middle of the field when you already have a yellow?

They do it because they get away with it 99 percent of the time. His mistake was forgetting he’s playing Argentina.

Also all these bandwagon Argentina fans in the stands

Alvarez has been a shadow of his 22 self

Very disappointing and doesn’t impact the game at all

Was the same thing 10 years ago at the copa centenario final at MetLife. Couldn’t believe all the random Argentina fans around me. Glad sent them all home crying.
