The amount of videos with people starting off with “yes Balogun shouldn’t have gotten a red card but” is insane. Then okay the result now is the fricking CORRECT call. Who gives a shite about precedence? They went against protocol to eject our player. Reinstating him is the closest thing to making it right as you can get. This is all after making us play with 10 men.

Balogun thing feels like bad mojo. Don’t like the vibes around this.

Genuine question: Is World Cup play the closest example of "playing for the love of the game?" The national team salaries are no where near what some of these players are receiving from their clubs yet they're risking injury to play for their respective countries.

I'm just now realizing the winners today play on Friday at 2pm
Whereas the winners from yesterday play Saturday at 4pm
What in the actual frick is that scheduling?

If tweet fails to load, click here. Your worst Bama fan couldn't compete with the average Mexico fan regarding being obnoxious.

The Battle of the Iberian Peninsula is going to be a great game.

I'm sure this was discussed last night, but shout-out to Henderson for getting a yellow card and a broken wrist while not playing a single minute.

Balogun didnt deserve a red card and Mexico didnt deserve a penalty for the high Kane kick in the box. VAR isnt infallible because in the end its still humans making the calls.

Spain has yet to allow a goal in 4 matches this World Cup.
That seems pretty good.
