A good high school club team would beat them. The speed/size and athleticism would just be too much for the women to overcome even if they were more technically sound.

A U17 select team from a decent sized city could beat the women’s team. The size and speed is completely different.

A GREAT high school team/U-17probably would.
The better question though, is why does it matter? The USWNT is so much better than their peers and they clearly have bought space in a lot of people’s heads who are certainly weaker than them.

As others have said. Why does it matter? I mean if a group of 12 year old girls won a soccer championship would you ask the same question?

Yes, men are more athletic and stronger than women. Yes, a mens high school team would most likely run a train at the world cup. What's the point? Our women are better than any other group of women in the world
