I cannot tell you how much better this morning feels after a win than it would have if we lost or drew.

Waking up was rough, but definitely worth it

Is there any way to watch a replay of this match?

Apparently coaching soccer is like Earl Weaver's quote about baseball, you just need 11 guys named Robinson.
This was obviously a must win, but I don't think the USMNT's issues in the first two games were about their quality. They played well against El Slavador, just couldn't score. They did play worse against Canada, but a draw was a fair result.
This was a gut check game, even moreso when down 1-0. And this team has looked like a bunch of talented kids without much guidance or experence. WC qualifying is tough everywhere. No one skates through. But the good news is this team answered the bell when they absolutely had to.
Of course, a huge part of that is finally finding a guy who can finish. If Pepi is the answer at striker, it solves a lot of issues. I'd also point out that the team poured on four goals without McKennie, Renya, Steffen, or Dest. Which sort of shows the problem wasn't really talent.
At the end of the day, only results matter in qualifying. The USMNT got 5 points, which was the bare minimum bar for success in this window.
The next window is crucial. Not just two home games, but a home game against two winless teams, including a Jamaica side which was the only team to lose twice in qualifying. The road game is one of those don't sleep on it games, as Panama has 5 points, and it's critical that the USMNT gets at last a draw there.

What? No we didn’t. We looked disjointed.

I picked one heck of a game to go to bed at halftime. In my defense - 1030p kickoff is tough.
Great win, even better thread.

If you have Paramount+ or get the free trial, it's on there.

Eh we were absolutely the better team for the vast majority of the time against El Salvador. Simply didn’t finish well

We were NOT vastly better through the first half so we could not be the vastly better team throughout the whole game!

Let me be perfectly clear we were hot garbage in the first half.

That was our first road WCQ win since Zusi and Bacon murdered all of Panama in 2013.

That’s really an incredible stat.

It is on the surface, but when you break it down, it's not that crazy. That was the last game of WCQ for Brazil. Then we all know how poorly the Hex went for Russia.
ETA: It's actually not true. The USMNT beat St. Vincent and the Grenadines 6-0 on the road in the round before the Hex in the last WCQ cycle.

Wow. Can't say I'm surprised though with the crop we had post 2014. 2015-2018 may be the darkest period in USMNT history.

So apparently that plane that Pulisic snapped a selfie on with the rest of our Euro contingent was sent by Chelsea and they just let the rest of the guys use it as well I guess.
Apparently the source is being disputed, as it’s just a single Twitter account that discusses air travel. I doubt US soccer canceled the flights for all the euro guys just so they could travel with Pulisic on a Chelsea plane. More likely scenario is that it’s a chartered flight by the USSF.
