So Dest is out, McKennie is gone, Reyna is gone... thats 3 starters out. Then throw in Weah and Steffen who are 2 more options who are out with injuries as well. Watch us have more chemistry out there tonight. Guessing our starting lineup looks something like this tonight.

------------------Turner----------------
Yedlin--Brooks--M. Robinson--A. Robinson
-----------------Adams-----------------
-------------Acosta---Roldan------------
Aaronson--------Sargent--------Pulisic

Twellman said something the other day in regards to our strikers that I think I agree with.

Basically, he said Gregg got the starting strikers wrong in both games. Pefok is more of an aerial threat and a bruiser which fits in when playing on these thick central american pitches (El Salvador) and Sargent is the better option with the ball at his feet when soccer is actually allowed to be played (home vs Canada), yet it was Sargent who started at El Salvador and Pefok vs Canada.

Honestly, throw Pepi in there and see what happens, it can't be any worse.

That midfield is rough, but thankfully we’ll have Jackson Yueill to bring off the the bench to provide a spark

Not sure if I'll laugh or cry if Yueill comes in to score a late winner, Brad Evans vs Jamaica style, and then is a fixture in the team for the rest of the cycle.

Makes sense to me. I’d like to see what an in form Dike could do for us in an ugly game on a garbage field.

in form Dike

4 starts in MLS since coming back from England and he has 3 goals and 2 assists. Sucks that the Gold Cup roster was a horrible fit for him and left a sour taste in everyone's mouth.

Given that everyone we put up there can’t bag a goal, I think it’s time to question the players supporting the #9 as well.

Fit aside, there's no sugar coating, Dike looked like he didn't belong.

BA plays in the middle and bumps probably Roldan and Konrad starts on a wing.

Before I say any preferences up front (seen nothing from either striker - go with hot Pepi)……. Can we atleast make a sub before the 83rd minute up top of we need a goal. That was so ridiculous last game

That’s not part of Greg’s strategy

I think this is what it will be.

What I’d like to see is

Adams-Acosta
Aaronson-Pulsic-Konrad
Pefok

Is there a big El Salvador population in Canada? Seems like they have a lot of fans there.

eta

Canada up 2-0 already. Sad we can't look like that in the attack.

Kind of infuriating how much better of a coach Herdman is than Gregg.

3 matches, 3 completely different tactics from Canada, twice they worked, and they're going to get 5 points.
