The best half I've seen Honduras play in ages.
I am genuinely shocked how bad the midfield has been. With a competent CM for Honduras the USMNT would be losing by a few goals by now. This is insane. The spacing, the hold up play, the patterns of play have been fricking disastrous

I don’t know about you guys but I’m excited for this second half of soccer with 15 minutes of actual run of play and 30 minutes of Hondurans having CPR preformed on them on the field.

Yes. It’s a loser mentality. No doubt the field conditions are often awful, but you’re dealing with trash talent. Any road game should be an expected win except Mexico and maybe Costa Rica.

I’m truly at a lost for words at this lineup and this performance. I never doubted the US would qualify this round. I still think they qualify even with a loss here. But this is a performance rotten to the core. There is no silver lining in that first half.

Clearly the five back idea has been a disaster. Sands is too slow to play in a two man midfield in this game. Adams looks uncomfortable at wing back.
The left side of our defense is a horror show.

The one positive to how bad the US is playing is that Honduras won’t do as much CONCACAF shithousery, thinking they can make it 2-0
