Because you discounted bar none the best half of USA soccer in our lifetimes at a World Cup.

Then instead of stepping back and admitting it you doubled down and acted like teams ever play perfectly.

I pointed out the objective reality that meat was left on the bone There’s nothing to double down. I didn’t even discount anything, I pointed out that they could have performed better. This isn’t something debatable guy. It very much wasn’t flawless in the final third and there were too many sloppy passes in the area and mishits to maintain this delusion of perfection

It’s dawned on me that you are too emotional and offended to not be new to the sport and the USMNT. It’s completely understandable and you’ll calm down in time as you get your bearings and acclimated to the beautiful game

The 1st half may have been the best 45 minutes I've ever seen from the USMNT and that match was A to A+ for nearly the whole 90

Man I wish Australia/Turkiye was earlier than 11 PM tomorrow

I want to scout our last 2 opponents but got a 3 month old who will be asleep in the dark

Aussie is our big threat in the group, and we’re better than them.

Ya it's a little odd the first game isn't until 2pm. They couldve easily had the first game in the 11/12 window and that way the last game didn't have to start at freaking 11pm central.

Since when did Jurgen Klinsmann turn into former NM Governor Gary Johnson?

History will look favorably upon Klinsmann, imo. Terrible game day coach, but one thing you can say about Klinsmann is that he definitely put us on the right track with regard to talent evaluation and player development. We had a few guys overseas before him but he really ramped it up.

Ultimately he did fail from a coaching standpoint (which chased us back to the comfort of Bruce Arena in that disaster of a cycle), but Klinsmann got the infrastructure rolling like no one else ever has, and I hope history looks back on him favorably for that.

Eh I think she’s annoying as shite. That being said I absolutely loved her game when she was on. She was quite literally God’s gift to wing play in the women’s game for about a decade.

Because mainstream sports media tried to force women’s soccer down our throats for the past 20+ years and when the USMNT has its biggest win in a decade - folks like Rapinoe, Wambach, etc., who are always very active on Social Media, can’t take two seconds to give the Men a hat tip.

I personally love women’s soccer. The US women are extremely fun to watch.

I didn’t need it forced upon me to enjoy it.

Don't necessarily disagree with this.

What concrete changes did he make to the structure of youth soccer in the United States?

On the Gio goal... 26 consecutive completed passes.

That's just dirty.

Holy shite Richards was 83 for 83 passing. The best passing performance in the WC since 1966
