He said he was going to jump across the table and choke her, in jest. I'm sure he was trying to treat her as an equal (had he said it to Dempsey would this be talked about?).

That’s my fear too. I mean there are a lot of young and very talented guys on the squad now. A great manager should have these guys battling for a top ten spot “relatively” soon. This isn’t the old US squad where you are happy for a one goal lead and then ask Tim Howard to turn into superman for 30 min. These guys can create and are skilled, get manager to sort out the back line and tactics they can compete well with most teams and fight back.

We’re at the base level of this team. This is the new guard, they’re about to be thrown into a bunch of Central American stadiums where their opponents and refs are gonna do whatever they can to keep them from advancing.
CONCACAF loves the US for its venues and marketing, that’s it. They’ll put on a good show for the Gold Cup, but almost every official within that organization loved the US not qualifying in 2018.
We’re solid as long as we keep these guys as our core going forward. There’s not shite anyone can do if they keep beating veteran squads like Mexico tonight.

One thing I've noticed from rewatching the highlights, Bryan Reynolds is still with the team as well. I thought it was only Dike.
Assuming we'll see both of them play against Costa Rica.
Also, kind of sucks that we didn't captie Musah. I'm not worried about him bailing or anything, but It would've been nice to remove all doubt.
